Two days ago I asked out another girl named Sarah for coffee. She said she had just gotten out of a relationship but sure, we could go as friends. I got her phone number and we're making tenuous plans to meet up.
Well, it's not exactly a bullseye but it's a start.
Also, today I was buying some new shoes at the mall. I went to the help desk to ask for directions. The girl behind the desk was a beautiful black girl, with vibrant blue eyes. I don't know if they're real or contacts, but they really shine. I looked at her name tag as I approached her, it said "Crystal." Also... this isn't the first time I've met her.
"Hey Cyrstal, how's it going?"
-"It's good. How can I help you?"
"Do you know where payless shoes store is?"
-"It's just down this aisle." She pointed...maintained eye contact with me and lingered for a moment..."I'm sorry...do I know you?"
"I asked you out here before."
She immediately looked away uncomfortably, and didn't really have anything coherent to say, so I said goodbye and went straight for the payless shoes.
The girl who assisted me with the shoes was very cute. I liked her and she also made direct eye contact with me a lot during our interactions. She could probably tell I was interested in her but I was having a hard time reading her. I couldn't tell if the feeling was mutual or if she was just being professional and polite. I just bought the shoes and left.
