A mini crush

I'm working in the Garden center and it's a hot, vibrant day. The air is dry and there's about ten other people walking around in there checking out the flowers. Way at the other end is a beautiful girl walking around with someone who I'm guessing is her mom. I'm watering the plants and every now and then I glance her way to sneak a peek at her body. Her ass is perfect, and her clothes compliment her form very well. Not too slutty, but very sexy, wearing colors of black and grey.

I see a man by the till and that's my cue to stop watering and ring him through. She stands right behind him and a small line up forms after these two. I assume that he's her boyfriend...or possibly her dad? It's hard to tell. I avoid checking her out just in case, but her face is very pretty.

He leaves, and she comes up to me, "Hey can I buy one of those fountains over there? The tall black one with the rocks in it."
"Oh yes, I know the one. Here let me call someone to help you out with that." I'm already tied up with people wanting to cash out, so I can't just walk away, so I call Justin over to help her out. As soon as she looks away, I see his eyes make a cruise down and back up her body. Even he couldn't help himself. They go off and I continue working.

I finish the line up and Justin approaches me, the girl standing off in the background. "That's the last one we have."
"Oh we don't have any in boxes?"
"Nope, it's okay we can just give her this one without the box."

While we're talking about this, she comes over and stands to the side. He turns to her and asks if she minds getting the display model. She says it's okay so he and I proceed to unplug it. After figuring out the cables, Justin says, "Okay I got it from here." So I back off and see that she's standing there watching us. So I walk up to her and ask, "So how's your weekend going?"

She kind of mumbles something and laughs. I respond with "I'm sorry?"
"Oh, I'm working. Doing some extra work this weekend."
We start talking and she tells me that she's a manager for a accounting firm. She's buying a fountain to spruce up her office and get brownie points with her boss. She's very, very responsive with me during this conversation. I ask if she's going to the college and she says she might start taking some night classes, but her boss teaches her most of what she needs to know.

I ask how she scored this job and she explains that her mom's friend runs the company, so her mom hooked her up. It comes with the drawback that her boss expects a lot more from her than her co-workers. I ask if they'll pay for her schooling, and she just smiles and nods. :) I smile and say, "Yeah that's why I got this job, they have 50% tuition reimbursement if you can relate it to the company. I'll be taking engineering drafting, and at the pro desk they make floor plans for people. So it should be easy to relate my classes to this."

After you experience and expect things to not work out for so long, when they do, you don't even recognize it.

I get more customers so I stop to help them. When she comes up to pay, I ask her what her name is. She responds so fast, "Hailey." And she smiles, looks into my eyes and asks..."What's yours?"

I tell her my name, and add..."well if you get started at the college, maybe I'll see you around."

She smiles and steps back, looking down, and I feel my heart swell up, and an uncontrollable smile stretches across my face. When I get back to watering...I feel butterflies in my chest. My heart is fluttering, and I keep thinking about her. I realize...I have a crush on her. And it feels great. I haven't had that feeling in so long. It's uplifting.

Looking back now... I wish I had asked her for her phone number, but at the moment I realized that there was no other way to do it. I did it perfectly to convey the image I wanted to. For her to know that I was attracted to her... but to remain mysterious and a gentleman.

I probably won't see her again, but it felt nice to be really attracted to her, and to realize that she was also attracted to me.
