At work today I was talking with a cute girl I kind of like. After she left, Russel said, "Why didn't you ask her out?"

HA. HA. "Because I just don't do that. I'm not good at that stuff."

"Oh, I used to be shy too. When my wife and I started dating, it took me a week just to summon the courage to kiss her."

Later on, Koreen and I were working together and I told her about what Russel had said. You know what she did? She got out a piece of paper, wrote my name and phone number on it, drew a smiley face and told me to give it to the prettiest girl that comes in. I just tucked it under the counter and took it with me when I left the store. She gave me a ride home, and suggested I try speed dating. I'm gonna look into it.
